Hello everyone! Another busy day today.
Ask your child about:
-the math and literacy centers we put out during IGNITE (hint: making books, patterning with pattern blocks, Up To Your Neck in words spelling game, Vowel Crosses Game, Snakes and Ladders)
-Ask your child if they read with a teacher in their guided reading group or if they read to self or with a partner (hint: Ms. Disher's group read "Birthday Noodles")
-Ask your child about the word work we did today in our new groups. We read a story to start us off: Max's Words. (hint: if you were working with Ms. Disher, show the picture of the face to remember the vowels)
-Ask your child about their math group (hint: some of us are looking at how many ways we can to get to 10)
-Today a pink notice went home about the week of March 9th to 13th about the Eric Harvie School Read-a-Thon.
