Happy Monday everyone, we hope you had a fabulous weekend!
Literacy-Today we talked about Read To Self. We went over teacher and learner jobs during this reading time. For example, a teacher job is to work with groups of students on their reading and a student job is to get started right away reading quietly.
Math-Today we started some math centers to show what we know about numbers. For example, at one center we are putting the numbers in the correct sequence to practice counting in a variety of ways based on the Program of Studies for Grade 1 and 2.
Ms. Disher's group (Winter) and Mrs. Campbell's group (Autumn) went to music for the first time. If your child is in these groups, ask them what they did today.
Mrs. Bates (Summer Group) went to gym with Mr. Der. Ask your child what they did in this group.
