Tuesday, September 17th

We started off our day with Phys Ed and Ignite, engaging our bodies and minds to get ready for learning.

We spent some time writing independently in our Journals "All about Me".  We look forward to sharing these with you this Thursday at the Open House

This afternoon we went on a wonderful adventure to Teepee Forest and Cattail Pond.  We saw so many amazing signs of fall as well as many small crawling and flying creatures.  Students spent time observing nature and sketching in their journals.  We asked the question "What do you wonder?"
and these were some of the responses..

I wonder....
why the ducks have blue and purple?
why are ladybugs different colours?
when will all the leaves turn yellow and orange?
why the ladybugs have different numbers of spots?
why did the spider only have 7 legs?
why the grasshopper stayed on my hand for so long?
if there is a boy mushroom and a girl mushroom?
why are there so many ladybugs?
how many leaves are on the trees?
why are some flowers colourful and some are white?
how many ants live in an anthill?
