- Please send a pair of indoor shoes for your child to keep at school
A few highlights from our day:
Students explored a new math game with one of the pod teachers. Ask your child to share one with you at home (they have all learned 3 now).
We took the time to read It's Ok to be Different by Todd Parr and talked how we are all important and special by simply being who we are. We then each created a journal page with a self portrait surrounded by what we enjoy doing or things (or people or pets) that we love.
It was a great start to our school year this week! We are getting to know one another and making new friends.
