🌎 Happy Earth Day! 🌏

Good Morning! Ms. Disher has a morning message for you...

Mr. Kai reads The Earth Book by Todd Parr for Earth Day!

TODAY'S TASK
Your daily task today will be found in your Math Group in Google Classroom.

To continue our Earth Day celebration, Peace Pod teachers wanted to share this short video with you all! We hope you enjoy it and that it helps get you thinking about Earth Day.
Please note: at the end of the video, it asks that you participate in a Unify Livestream and Global Meditation. This is not part of our EHS activities and you are not expected to participate in the event. We simply enjoyed the message and visuals of the video and wanted to share with you.

To continue our celebration of Earth Day, we wanted to share this fun activity from TinkerLab with you. This activity will walk you through the steps to make your our paper out of paper scraps you might have around the house. Why is this a great Earth Day activity? Well, I'm glad you asked! Making fresh paper out of old scraps is recycling, and recycling is one of the 3Rs! Also, as the activity suggests, you can mix plant seeds into your paper. Once it drys, hand it off to a friend and they can burry the paper to easily sprout some new plants! We hope you have fun with this optional task today!
