Today we...
-had IGNITE centers focusing on building and art as well as a printing group going
-we had a quick chat in our morning meeting about returning library books, book truck books and home reading (and finding their folders)
-we continued our work on telling stories in a variety of ways: loose parts, watercolor pencils, felt boards and using post its
-we worked in our math groups on problem solving and reviewing strategies for addition and subtraction

-Our Inquiry groups continued our focus on the 3 communities. Peace Group B continued their animal research on either puffins, polar bears and sea otters. We worked on learning about the food chain/web for these animals, what is the difference between a fact and an opinion and sorted sentence strips with animal facts into the correct animal group (i.e. They have webbed feet for swimming and waterproof feathers for swimming=puffin)
Report cards are now available for viewing online (tip: computer works best over viewing on phones)
