Our Day:
After our Literacy time today we made the time to pass out Valentine cards to one another. The book truck also made a visit so students were given the opportunity to check out books from there as well today. This afternoon students went off to their inquiry groups.
Peace A: The West Coast group learned about living and non-living things and their characteristics. They drew and coloured living and non-living things in our world.
Peace B: The Arctic group explored the meaning of community and what a community needs to thrive. They also looked at images of the NWT and were making observations about the land and how the land is changing.
