Our Day:
World Read Aloud Day: Mrs. Kinsman shared the book Anything is Possible by Guilia Belloni with the ENTIRE school today after lunch in the gym to mark World Read Aloud Day today.
Literacy: Students engaged in literacy stations and were given free choice for a station they would like to work at today. Others participated in read to self, read to others, or read with a teacher. We read a book entitled the Balloon Tree. Ask your child if they can tell you about what happened first, then, next and last in the story.
Math: Students worked in partners today when solving our problem today. Students are learning to show their understanding and problem solving in pictures, numbers and words. Students were given the first 3 stages of this problem and asked to figure out stage 4 and 5.
Inquiry: Group B was working on putting together their history book - working diligently on illustrations for the 'big book' we are publishing at school!
Group A continued their arctic animal research.
